Tuesday, June 9, 2026 Update

​Yesterday was a busy day for Armando. It started out with respiratory therapy which is rather unpleasant for him, particularly the shaker vest followed by a bed bath. 

That wore him out but then physical therapy came in and worked with him sitting him up, holding his head up, moving his arms and legs. Then he got a chest Xray, just making sure his lungs are ok with all the congestion he’s been having. 

Surgery was at 1pm which went well. The 

J Tube is now in place and they’ll start his food back up again some time today. 

He did have some pain during the night, but very little coughing so he was able to rest better.

Ayer fue un día ajetreado para Armando. Comenzó con terapia respiratoria, que es bastante desagradable para él, particularmente el chaleco shaker seguido de un baño en la cama.

Eso lo agotó, pero luego entró la fisioterapia y trabajó con él sentándolo, sosteniendo su cabeza en alto, moviendo sus brazos y piernas. Luego le hicieron una radiografía de tórax, solo para asegurarse de que sus pulmones estén bien con toda la congestión que ha estado teniendo.

La cirugía fue a la 1 p. m. y salió bien. El

J Tube ya está en su lugar y comenzarán su comida de nuevo en algún momento de hoy.

Tuve algo de dolor durante la noche, pero tosió muy poco, por lo que pudo descansar mejor.
