Armando has kind of hit a plateau in some areas in terms of progress. Still, the battle continues with the tube feedings, the coughing, especially at night, the trending fluctuations of the WBC and Potassium. 

However, there is so much to thank Him for!!! He IS getting stronger. Yesterday, I watched him walk (with much assistance) farther than he has! Although his legs move such shaky awkwardness reminding me of a new born fawn, yet, they’re moving. The nurse offered to take him outside for a few minutes. We waited for a little while for the heavy cloud to move over until the sun was finally revealed. It was the first time sunshine has touched his skin in 6 weeks! 

Please remember me in prayer as I tunnel through taking care of business on the home front, applying and waiting for Medicaid, searching for the right kind of a rehabilitation center that will meet Armando’s need and be covered by Medicaid etc. Feeling overwhelmed but trusting in Him Who will not leave me. 

I know many have asked me regarding our housing situation but I don’t have any solid answers at the present.

Armando ha llegado a una meseta en algunas áreas en términos de progreso. Aún así, la batalla continúa con las alimentaciones por sonda, la tos, especialmente por la noche, las fluctuaciones de tendencia del WBC y el potasio.

Sin embargo, ¡hay mucho por lo que agradecerle! Se está volviendo más fuerte. ¡Ayer, lo vi caminar (con mucha ayuda) más lejos de lo que ha hecho! Aunque sus piernas se mueven con una torpeza tan temblorosa que me recuerda a un cervatillo recién nacido, sin embargo, se están moviendo. El enfermero se ofreció a llevarlo afuera por unos minutos. Esperamos un poco a que la pesada nube se moviera hasta que finalmente se reveló el sol. ¡Fue la primera vez que el sol tocó su piel en 6 semanas!

Por favor, recuérdame en oración mientras me ocupo de los negocios en el frente del hogar, solicito y espero Medicaid, busco el tipo correcto de centro de rehabilitación que satisfaga las necesidades de Armando y esté cubierto por Medicaid, etc. Me siento abrumado, pero confiando en Aquel que no me dejará.

Sé que muchos me han preguntado sobre nuestra situación de vivienda, pero no tengo ninguna respuesta sólida en este momento.
